Matt is originally from Stormville, NY and received his Doctor of Pharmacy from St. John’s University. He has been with Stony Brook Medicine since graduating in 2012. He is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist (BCPS) and his background includes institutional practice, emergency medicine, and hematology/oncology/transplant. His primary interests involve caring for cardio-oncology patients and treating infectious diseases in immunocompromised populations. He enjoys fostering a collaborative environment with health care practitioners, nursing, and social work to achieve optimal patient care.

In his free time, Matt enjoys cooking and exploring the outdoors with his wife and dog. He is looking forward to cultivating and enhancing the clinical pharmacy program at Stony Brook.
