Stony Brook School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences has submitted an application to the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), the accrediting agency for the Doctor of Pharmacy degrees offered by US Colleges and Schools of Pharmacy. A successful review of our application by ACPE at its January 2018 meeting will result in a comprehensive on-site evaluation in spring 2018 and the Board’s consideration of awarding our Doctor of Pharmacy program pre-candidate status at its June 2018 meeting. Notification of the Board’s action would then be made in early July. Upon the awarding of pre-candidate status, our School will matriculate students in fall 2018.
